Ideally, newborn sessions should be booked during your second or third trimester. Notify me when the baby arrives, and we will schedule your session within the first two weeks. I sometimes have last minute availability, so if you already had your baby, please inquire!
The best time to book your high school senior pictures is the summer before your senior year. This will allow time to plan your session and ensure you get a spot in my schedule. I travel throughout Northeast Ohio and the greater Cleveland and Akron areas for in-home newborn sessions. Newborn sessions take place in your home, which removes the stress of having to pack up and get out the door with your brand-new baby. I bring everything we need – lighting, backdrops, props, and accessories. All you have to do to prepare is feed the baby and then sit back and relax! Check out this blog post for more information!
For family sessions, I suggest sticking to 2-3 colors and coordinating everyone’s outfits together. For newborn sessions, I suggest parents wear light-colored solid neutral tops. Check out this blog post for more tips and ideas!
I shoot outdoor family sessions in the Cleveland and Akron areas year-round with my busiest time being September through December. The best lighting is early in the morning or in the two hours before sunset. There are several locations around Northeast Ohio that I shoot at frequently and can recommend, but I am always up for new locations – let me know if you have one in mind!
Yes, I offer Fall and Christmas Mini Sessions and occasionally additional seasonal Mini Sessions. These sessions take place at a specific location on a specific day at a discounted price. My Mini Sessions typically sell out, so if you are interested, please subscribe to my newsletter so that you will be notified as soon as they begin booking.
Absolutely! Maternity sessions are usually around 32-34 weeks.
A $200 retainer is due at the time of booking in order to reserve time on my calendar. Within two weeks of your session we will have your Ordering Session where the remainder of your session fee will be due and you will have the opportunity to purchase printed products.
